About our Music Books
Stella’s Musical Chord books are beautiful, compact references, cleverly packed with nearly everything you need to know to start playing music.
Inspired by my musical background and my own children’s first forays into learning to play music, I sat down and interviewed experienced musicians and teachers and created books that I believe are engaging, useful, and straight to the point
Stella’s Chords by Key
This innovative chord reference takes a fresh approach. Our chord diagrams are organized by key, just like songs are. Each key’s page contains beautiful diagrams of the seven main chords for that key, so you can play most songs without flipping between pages.
All the chords in this book are labeled with roman numerals; uppercase numerals for major chords, and lowercase numerals for minor chords. This system allows you to rapidly transpose chord progressions and songs. Each full-color diagram also displays scale degrees, string voicings, and suggesting fingering.
